Saint John-based NTI Boilers Inc. (NTI) is headed to this year’s NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Las Vegas to showcase the latest example of New Brunswick innovation.
Founded in 1967 by the Dennison family and acquired by Italy’s Ariston Thermo Group in 2016, NTI is a world-leading manufacturer of high-efficiency boilers and water heaters now in its 51st year of operation.
The company’s latest innovation, the GF200 Combi Furnace, will be showcased on the floor at the IBS show.
NTI is excited to return to the IBS show after a few years away. “The GF200 fits extremely well with the new home construction market. So, we were thrilled to have ONB offer us the chance to participate in this year’s show,” says NTI’s Steve Bagshaw. “Feedback has been great thus far, so we’re looking forward to a successful show and a chance to get even better traction in the U.S. market.”
Bagshaw notes that the GF200 has been selected as a ‘Best of IBS’ finalist in two categories: Most Innovative Building Material Product and Best Energy Efficient Product.
He says operating in New Brunswick has provided geographic advantages for the company. “New England is where much of the North American boiler market is concentrated so, in terms of proximity, this has been a great place for our base of operations. Not only for reaching new clients in the Eastern U.S. but for the large Canadian markets in Ontario and Quebec.”
“We really appreciate ONB reaching out to NTI and presenting us with this fantastic opportunity,” notes Bagshaw. “I would advise any New Brunswick company that is serious about growing their business and expanding their export activity in the U.S. to leverage ONB’s expertise and connections.”
ONB wishes the NTI team the best of luck in Las Vegas. Learn more about them at ntiboilers.com.
