June 2, 2023, FREDERICTON (GNB) – Opportunities NB celebrated the province’s top-performing exporters at the 55th annual Export Awards in Fredericton on Thursday.
“Expanding exports drives the development of new opportunities in New Brunswick,” said Arlene Dunn, minister responsible for Opportunities NB. “The Export Awards are a celebration of the top exporters in our province and the event showcases these companies and their homegrown innovation to the world.”
The winners were selected by a volunteer panel of business experts from academia and the private sector through a scoring system. New this year was the Sustainable Exporter of the Year Award, which recognizes a company that has leveraged sustainable practices to enable export growth.
“We have many great export success stories in New Brunswick,” said Traci Simmons, acting CEO for Opportunities NB. “Companies from every corner of the province are reaching new markets and seeing international success. Our annual awards gala shines a light on these successes, while also recognizing the significant economic contribution of our exporting industries.”
