September 14, 2016, FREDERICTON (GNB) – LiveOps Cloud, a leading contact centre-as-a-service provider, is creating up to 50 new jobs in Fredericton.

LiveOps Cloud offers solutions for the queuing, routing, and reporting of omnichannel interactions. Agents can engage with a customer via any channel and pivot to another channel while maintaining context to better handle the inquiry as required. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, LiveOps Cloud has operations in California, Canada, the United Kingdom and New Zealand.

“LiveOps Cloud has undergone significant transformation over the last year as we have rolled out our strategy to simplify customer experience management,” said Jeff Thompson, chief technology officer and senior vice-president of engineering. “Our Fredericton team will serve as a strategic hub of innovation and leadership to help drive the business forward. With even more aggressive growth plans for 2017 and beyond, our expansion of this office supports our organizational plans by broadening our team and complements our offices around the world.”

Opportunities NB is providing $825,000 in the form of a payroll rebate. The creation of 50 new full-time positions would increase the provincial GDP by $6.2 million annually.

The company has about 275 employees globally. The positions in Fredericton will require a combination of information technology and software skills.
