January 24, 2024, FREDERICTON (GNB) – The provincial government is investing in the creation of 100 full-time jobs at professional services firm MNP over the next three years.

“We are proud to see large Canadian organizations capitalizing on the New Brunswick advantage to expand their operations,” said Greg Turner, minister responsible for Opportunities NB. “Our talent, infrastructure, innovation and agility ensure our province’s tech sector continues to grow and drive economic success.”

By 2026, the expansion is expected to contribute up to $21.4 million in direct provincial GDP.

“Our continued investment in New Brunswick is an enhancement of our digital service offerings and addresses the growing market demand,” said Sean Murphy, partner and national digital solutions leader for MNP Digital. “We are committed to leveraging our deep industry expertise in collaboration with Opportunities NB, to drive innovation and digital transformation in the region – and to build a digital powerhouse in New Brunswick.”

Opportunities NB will provide up to $1.1 million in the form of a payroll rebate to help the firm expand its workforce and enhance its bilingual services through newly created New Brunswick digital delivery centres of excellence in Saint John, Moncton and Fredericton.

The centres of excellence will provide services to public and private sector clients across Canada and beyond in the areas of digital advisory, artificial intelligence, data and analytics, application development, cybersecurity and privacy, digital platforms, cloud services and managed IT services.
