June 5, 2024, FREDERICTON (GNB) – An award-winning digital engineering company is preparing for a significant workforce expansion.
Quantiphi Analytics Canada Limited plans to add as many as 325 full-time jobs to its Fredericton operations centre by the end of 2028.
“Quantiphi’s commitment to its artificial intelligence (AI)-first strategy and North American growth will further establish New Brunswick as a key player in the AI and tech sectors,” said Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour Minister Greg Turner, who is also minister responsible for Opportunities NB. “We are pleased to see that Quantiphi recognizes the benefits of developing their technology right here in New Brunswick.”
Quantiphi, founded in 2013, is a provider of AI-first digital engineering solutions that address critical business challenges for enterprises.
Quantiphi co-founder Asif Hasan said establishing the Fredericton centre in 2022 marked a significant milestone in the company’s expansion strategy to support the demand for AI, generative AI and machine-learning solutions for enterprises.
“Leveraging the talent and technical expertise in New Brunswick will bolster our enterprise service offerings and fuel ongoing innovation,” said Hasan. “The global AI market, valued at $140 billion in 2022, is projected to exceed $400 billion by 2027. With a projected 40 per cent increase in demand for AI and machine-learning specialists over the next five years, Quantiphi is well positioned to drive this momentum forward, backed by more than a decade of AI market leadership.”
Quantiphi is hiring for several roles through a New Brunswick-first recruitment approach and by prioritizing local talent, and is also establishing teams through employee relocation.
Employment opportunities are available on the company’s website.
Opportunities NB will provide up to $4.9 million to help the company create these positions. It is estimated by Opportunities NB that this investment will help create up to $72 million in direct provincial GDP.
