HANWELL (GNB) – The government is supporting Thermtest, a Hanwell-based company specializing in advanced thermal testing technology, as it works to expand its global market reach and strengthen its international distribution network.
“This investment supports a well-established New Brunswick manufacturer that continues to grow its international presence through innovation and resilience,” said Luke Randall, minister responsible for Opportunities NB. “Thermtest is a proven leader in advanced manufacturing, and its success highlights how New Brunswick businesses can compete globally by developing specialized expertise and building strong international partnerships.”
Founded in 2005, Thermtest designs and manufactures instruments and services for measuring thermophysical properties in a range of materials.
The company is now pursuing new markets for its thermal testing technology in composite materials and battery applications, and has been engaging with distributors in Europe and Asia.

With $15,000 in market development support from Opportunities NB, Thermtest will undertake targeted marketing initiatives and participate in international trade shows.
