Ensuring Regulatory Competitiveness

While regulation and some levels of regulatory burden are necessary for achieving outcomes and allowing society to function, excessive regulation or red tape can create challenges for New Brunswick businesses.

Ensuring competitive regulation is a key focus in ONB’s 2022-2027 Strategic Plan and an important initiative under the Government of New Brunswick’s (GNB) plan to energize the private sector and create a business climate where New Brunswick companies can thrive.
