MONCTON (GNB) – BioScript Solutions, a Moncton-based company that supports patients with chronic illnesses and rare diseases, is creating up to 30 new jobs by the end of 2027 with support from the provincial government.
Opportunities NB will provide up to $230,000 in the form of a payroll rebate to support the creation of these new full-time positions. The expansion is expected to generate more than $4 million in direct provincial GDP.
“BioScript has grown from a single infusion clinic into one of the most influential specialty care providers in the country – a true national leader supporting patients from coast to coast while creating high-quality jobs here at home,” said Luke Randall, minister responsible for Opportunities NB. “With strong programming at institutions like the New Brunswick Community College helping to build the talent pipeline, New Brunswick is leading the way in this growing sector. We are proud to support a company that is expanding access to specialized treatment across Canada from right here in our province.”
The company provides support for complex drug therapies, managing the needs of patients, prescribers and manufacturers, from wholesale and pharmacy distribution to patient support programs and drug administration.
Founded in Moncton in 2001, BioScript Solutions has built a network of more than 100 Coverdale Infusion Clinics, 14 specialty pharmacies, and national patient support programs, employing more than 1,500 people across Canada.
New positions will be available in finance, information technology, project management, operations, human resources and other areas of the company. Recruitment is already underway, with employment opportunities available on the company’s website.
“New Brunswick has always been at the heart of our growth,” said BioScript Solutions co-founder David Ford. “Our success has been driven by the incredible people here who share our mission to simplify access to specialty care. We’re grateful for Opportunities NB’s support as we continue to expand our services and create more opportunities in the province.”
Opportunities NB is the lead business development agency for the province. It supports local businesses and attracts new investment from around the globe to boost economic and job growth.
