
January 9, 2017, MONCTON (GNB) – Premier Brian Gallant met with employees at the Tangerine Contact Centre in Moncton today, one of the many business services centres in the province.
“The business services centre industry employs thousands of New Brunswickers and is a major contributor of New Brunswick exports,” said Gallant. “There are interesting career opportunities in the industry. We also believe there are opportunities for growth, resulting in more jobs in New Brunswick.”
The business services centres sector in the province includes administrative and support services, banking services and insurance carriers. The sector employs 18,000 people, or one in every 20 working New Brunswickers. The sector offers career opportunities with some of the world’s most-recognized companies including Tangerine, RBC, TD Insurance, WestJet and Medavie Blue Cross.
Opportunities NB has dedicated resources to help attract and retain businesses within this sector.
