Opportunities NB (ONB) was thrilled to once again be the Platinum Sponsor for the Junior Achievement New Brunswick Business Hall of Fame gala. This event is a celebration of our province’s most accomplished business leaders, all of whom serve as a reminder that great things are always happening in New Brunswick.

“I have been involved with Junior Achievement for a number of years now,” said ONB CEO Stephen Lund. “At ONB we are huge believers in empowering our youth. When we support our young people, we all win – it’s that simple.”

ONB recognizes the importance of not only celebrating our many business success stories but in giving young New Brunswickers great career opportunities at home.

In time for this year’s Hall of Fame gala, ONB sat down with this year’s honorees — all ONB clients — to get their thoughts on last night’s induction, doing business in New Brunswick, and more.

First up is Gordie Lavoie, President & GM of Miramichi’s Sunny Corner Enterprises. Gordie offers some great advice for young people entering the workforce.

Next is Mike Timani, President & CEO of Moncton’s Fancy Pokket. We love Mike’s thoughts on the many benefits of launching a business in New Brunswick.

Finally, we spoke to James Crosby Jr., President of Crosby’s Molasses in Saint John. James discusses the Hall of Fame induction and what it means to him and to the company.

ONB would like to congratulate all three of these outstanding New Brunswick business leaders and extend our thank you to Connie Woodside and the team at Junior Achievement New Brunswick for all they do for our province.
