You’re invited to join us for the Premier’s Open House on Wednesday, December 11 in Fredericton. The Premier’s Open House brings together the public, the Premier, Government of New Brunswick (GNB) officials and staff, and New Brunswick businesses to celebrate the holidays in a professional and festive setting.

Guests are invited to explore, sample, or buy from vendors showcasing a variety of locally produced food, beverages, and consumer goods from around the province.

When and Where?

This year’s event takes place Wednesday, December 11 at the Fredericton Convention Centre at 670 Queen Street. The event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and is open to the public with no registration required.

Premier Holt also welcomes you to mix and mingle and enjoy some holiday treats in her office during the event time. The 6th floor of Chancery Place will be open to all guests – don’t miss out!

Who?

Open House vendors are local small businesses from across the province. These businesses are eager to connect with potential customers, meet and greet with public sector partners, and most importantly, showcase their New Brunswick-made wares.

ONB has invited more than 15 unique vendors for this event, and we cannot wait for you to meet (or get reacquainted) with them!

This year’s vendors include:

The event will include other Holiday-inspired elements:

  • An exceptional local seafood and food table led by Chef Rick for guests to enjoy
  • The Elm City Echoes Ladies Choir providing holiday entertainment
  • Local eggnog, cider, cookies and candy canes
  • A Holiday-themed photobooth

Why?

With over 26,000 small businesses in New Brunswick employing nearly 225,000 people, ONB recognizes these entrepreneurs’ essential role in New Brunswick’s economy. The Premier’s Open House provides many of these New Brunswick-based vendors with a platform to showcase and sell their products, promote local economic activity, and strengthen connections between the public and the business community. We are proud to support any opportunity to promote the outstanding products made in New Brunswick and encourage buying local whenever possible.

Celebrate the arrival of the festive season with local businesses and your fellow New Brunswick holiday shoppers at the Premier’s Open House on December 11!
