May 3, 2017, SAINT JOHN (GNB) – Premier Brian Gallant met with Xerox Canada’s president John Corley today to discuss growth potential for the company in Saint John.

“It is great to see multinational businesses like Xerox continue to invest in our province,” said Gallant. “These types of investments help New Brunswickers find job opportunities right here in New Brunswick.”

Xerox Canada has operated an inside sales operation in Saint John for 22 years. The company set up its Canadian inside sales and contact centres in 1995, and currently employs more than 750 people at its two Saint John facilities.

“As an anchor tenant in New Brunswick for more than two decades, we are pleased to be operating in this province,” said Corley. “Delivering exceptional client experiences at every contact point is fundamental to the growth of our business, and our talented and skilled inside sales professionals in New Brunswick are the best at doing that in the Xerox world.”

Xerox Corp. is an $11 billion technology company that serves small and mid-size businesses, large enterprises, governments, and graphic communications providers in more than 160 countries. The company’s technology, software and staff help their customers automate, personalize, package, analyze and secure information.

Xerox Corp. is a company that could qualify for payroll rebates if there is future employment growth. The program is offered through Opportunities NB, the provincial Crown corporation that seeks to attract and support opportunities to grow the economy and create jobs.

The business services sector was identified as a priority in the New Brunswick Economic Growth Plan and represents one of the largest export sectors for the province, generating close to $1 billion per year in export revenue.
