FREDERICTON (GNB) – The government, through Opportunities NB, is supporting the expansion of a Fredericton-based company, C-Therm Technologies.

“We are proud to support C-Therm as they expand into new international markets and strengthen the company’s global supply chain,” said Luke Randall, minister responsible for Opportunities NB. “It’s exciting to see an innovative New Brunswick technology company like C-Therm is leveraging Opportunities NB’s support to bring its local expertise to the world stage.”

With increased trade challenges, the company is accelerating its efforts to reach new international customers and reduce vulnerabilities in its supply chain. It will pursue market development activities in Europe, expand its contract testing services, and enhance the resilience of its supply chain with $25,000 in market development support from Opportunities NB.

“As a global leader in thermal conductivity instrumentation, we are grateful for Opportunities NB’s support as we work to expand our reach,” said Adam Harris, CEO of C-Therm Technologies. “We are proud of the business we’ve built here in New Brunswick; our technology for measuring thermal conductivity is best in class. This has been a great place to grow a global business, and this funding will help us promote our technology to new markets, build stronger international partnerships and ensure that our supply chain remains resilient and responsive.”

C-Therm’s technology is used to test and measure materials such as polymers, composites, electronic materials, insulation and textiles. Its flagship product, the Trident system, is used by organizations such as NASA, Henkel and Adidas to evaluate and optimize the thermal performance of materials.

Opportunities NB is the lead business development agency for the province. It supports local businesses and attracts new investment from around the globe to boost economic and job growth.
